Chrome Rim Lock

A school installed 200 locks on classroom doors. After one year, the panels began to bend and the latch mechanisms started to jam. The repair cost alone was enough to purchase two full batches of replacement locks. That experience changed our standard permanently.

Today, we never go below 2.0mm thickness.

Most factories still use 1.2mm cold-rolled steel. We use 2.0mm or thicker. The body material is cold-rolled steel or brass, finished with chrome plating. The increased thickness significantly improves panel rigidity and prevents deformation under long-term use.

This chrome rim lock is designed with durability as the starting point, not an upgrade.

The bolt is made of 304 stainless steel, measuring 12×12mm. We do not use 201 stainless steel, and we do not rely on zinc alloy with chrome coating-because those are only surface-level solutions.

Salt spray testing is conducted in accordance with ASTM B117 standards. The result is 48 hours with no red rust.

In practical terms, this chrome rim lock is suitable for humid coastal environments such as Hainan, as well as de-icing salt conditions in cold regions like Russia. With 25 years of export experience, we understand how performance requirements vary by market.

Standard dimensions include a 60mm backset and 72mm center distance, suitable for wooden doors with a thickness of 35–50mm.

Over the past three years, more than 500,000 units of this chrome rim lock have been sold in these specifications. It has become one of the most widely used models in project-based orders due to its direct installation compatibility-no re-drilling or modification required.

A Russian customer once tested samples from three different suppliers. At -20°C, the other locks jammed. Our sample operated normally on the first attempt. That order later expanded to 2,000 apartment units.

That result reflects 25 years of real-world engineering experience.

We hold 16 national patents. Monthly production capacity reaches 500,000 units. MOQ ranges from 1,000 to 5,000 units, with mixed models and finishes allowed in a single order.

Samples are free of charge; only shipping costs apply. We support EXW, FOB, and DDP terms. Payment terms are 40% deposit and 60% balance before shipment. New mold development is charged separately.
