A restaurant kitchen door may open and close up to 200 times per day. A hospital door must close slowly to ensure patient safety. A school door needs to close quickly between class changes. A single fixed setting cannot meet all requirements.

This automatic door closers commercial model offers a wide adjustment range. The closing speed from 180° to 15° is adjustable between 2–10 seconds. Standard models typically offer a range of 3–8 seconds. This wider range allows faster closing in high-traffic environments such as fast-food kitchens, and slower, controlled closing in sensitive areas such as hospital rooms.

The latching speed is adjustable between 0.3–2 seconds (final 15° of closing). Faster settings ensure secure locking, while slower settings help prevent door slamming.

The maximum opening angle is 180°. In contrast, standard closers typically allow 130–150°. This full 180° opening enables the door to lie flat against the wall, improving usability for furniture movement, cart passage, and cleaning operations. This is particularly beneficial for maintenance staff.

Noise level is controlled at ≤45dB, comparable to quiet indoor environments (between a library page turn and normal conversation). This is achieved through nylon gear transmission instead of metal gears. Gear clearance is controlled within 0.1mm to reduce vibration and prevent rattling. Damping grease is also applied for additional noise reduction.

Two mounting options are available: surface-mounted (top frame installation) and concealed installation inside the door. Concealed mounting requires sufficient internal door structure.
