Polished Nickel Lever Door Handles

Chrome has a cool, bluish tone, while nickel has a warm, softer finish. It resembles silver and creates a more elegant and understated look. This is why many high-end hotels and villas choose polished nickel-they prefer a warm atmosphere rather than a cold, industrial feel.

Our polished nickel lever door handles feature a mirror finish with a gloss level of 85° or higher. For comparison, bright chrome is around 90°. At this level, the surface is highly reflective, and you can clearly see your reflection.

The base layer is ≥8μm and provides adhesion and corrosion resistance. The top layer is ≥0.5μm and enhances shine and wear resistance. Many lower-cost handles use only a single nickel layer of 5μm or less. Over time, these finishes tend to become dull within six months. In contrast, our dual-layer structure passes a 48-hour salt spray test with no peeling or rust.

We use 0000-grade steel wool, the finest available, with a 500g load. The handle is rubbed back and forth 3,000 times. Standard plated handles typically show visible scratches at around 1,000 rubs. Our polished nickel lever door handles show only very fine micro-marks at 3,000 rubs, visible only under close inspection and strong lighting.

Two material options are available: 304 stainless steel or high-grade zinc alloy. The stainless steel version is fully rust-resistant, while the zinc alloy version is approximately 30% more cost-effective. Both finishes are visually almost identical, and the choice depends on budget and application. The lever wall thickness is 2.0mm or more.

Every batch is inspected in our factory using a coating thickness tester. The base nickel layer must meet ≥8μm, and the top nickel layer must meet ≥0.5μm. Any batch that fails these standards will not be shipped.

This handle is designed for five-star hotels, luxury villas, clubs, showrooms, and vintage-style homes. MOQ is 500 sets, with a lead time of 7–15 days.
